Lauderdale County Deputies responded to a Car Vs building at Clarkdale School this morning.

Once on scene it was determined that the event happened on the Clarke County Side. Deputies discovered narcotics in the vehicle. One person was transported to a local hospital. The scene is still under investigation.

Statement from Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office

At 9:07 a.m. this morning Lauderdale County E-911 received a call of a one vehicle crash on the Clarkdale campus. A parent had dropped a student off at the school and as the driver was leaving the campus the car struck a building. No damage was reported to the building however the vehicle had minor damage. Metro Ambulance transported the driver to a local emergency department. The crash is under investigation.
