Meridian Police Department was requested to respond to 149 calls for service from January 15, 2026 at 6:00 AM to January 16, 2026 at 6:00 AM.     

The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.                        

Robbery

There were no robberies reported.

Commercial Burglary    

There were no commercial burglaries reported.

Church Burglary

There were no church burglaries reported.

Stolen Vehicles

At 2:34 PM on January 15, 2026, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 900 block of 30th Avenue. The case is currently under investigation.

Auto Burglary

There were no auto burglaries reported.

Residential Burglary

There were no residential burglaries reported.

Shootings

Meridian Police responded to 4 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 2 showed any evidence found to support the calls.

At 2:37 PM on January 15, 2026, Meridian Police responded to a shooting call in the 2500 block of 33rd Avenue. One residence was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.

At 6:17 PM on January 15, 2026, Meridian Police responded to a shooting call in the 2400 block of 33rd Avenue. One residence was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
