Meridian Police Department was requested to respond to 336 calls for service from August 14 2026 at 6:00 AM to August 17 2026 at 6:00 AM.

The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.

Robbery

At 10:39 PM on August 14, 2026, Meridian Police responded to an armed robbery in the 100 block of South Frontage Road. The victim stated he was threatened with a firearm that was stolen, the case is currently under investigation.

Commercial Burglary

There were no commercial burglaries reported.

Church Burglary

There were no church burglaries reported.

Stolen Vehicles

There were no stolen vehicles reported.

Auto Burglary

There were no auto burglaries reported.

Residential Burglary

At 7:10 PM on August 15, 2026, Meridian Police responded to a residential burglary in the 2900 block of 38th Street. Entry was gained through a door.

Shootings

Meridian Police responded to 8 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 3 showed any evidence found to support the calls.

At 7:30 AM on August 16, 2026, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 4500 block of Arthur Street. One residence was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
