Meridian Police Department was requested to respond to 102 calls for service from January 5, 2026 at 6:00 AM to January 6, 2026 at 6:00 AM.       

The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.                        

Robbery

There were no robberies reported.

Commercial Burglary    

There were no commercial burglaries reported.

Church Burglary

There were no church burglaries reported.

Stolen Vehicles

At 5:42 PM on January 5, 2026, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 1200 block of Highway 39 North. The vehicle was recovered for another agency.

Auto Burglary

There were no auto burglaries reported.

Residential Burglary

At 10:34 AM on January 5, 2026, Meridian Police responded to a residential burglary in the 500 block of North Frontage Road. Entry was gained through a window.

Shootings

Meridian Police responded to 2 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, there wasn’t any evidence found to support the calls.
