The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.
Robbery
At 11:29 PM on April 11, 2026, Meridian Police responded to a strong-armed robbery in the 1800 block of 24th Street. The victim stated he was assaulted and property was taken, the case is currently under investigation.
Commercial Burglary
There were no commercial burglaries reported.
Church Burglary
There were no church burglaries reported.
Stolen Vehicles
At 8:38 AM on April 10, 2026, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 4500 block of 9th Street. The vehicle has been recovered.
At 10:54 AM on April 11, 2026, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 2000 block of Mosby Road. The case is currently under investigation.
Auto Burglary
At 8:48 AM on April 10, 2026, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 700 block of Crestwood Drive. Entry was gained through a door.
Residential Burglary
There were no residential burglaries reported.
Shootings
Meridian Police responded to 5 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 1 showed any evidence found to support the calls.
