Meridian Police Department was requested to respond to 116 calls for service from January 29, 2026 at 6:00 AM to January 30, 2026 at 6:00 AM.     

The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.                        

Robbery

There were no robberies reported.

Commercial Burglary    

There were no commercial burglaries reported.

Church Burglary

There were no church burglaries reported.

Stolen Vehicles

There were no stolen vehicles reported.

Auto Burglary

At 7:53 AM on January 29, 2026, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 4600 block of Poplar Springs Drive. Entry was gained through a window.

At 11:24 AM on January 29, 2026, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 2600 block of 18th Street. Entry was gained through a door.

Residential Burglary

There were no residential burglaries reported.

Shootings

Meridian Police responded to 4 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 2 showed any evidence found to support the calls.

At 1:15 AM on January 30, 2026, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 4100 block of 10th Street. One individual and one residence were struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
