Meridian Police Department was requested to respond to 101 calls for service from May 8, 2024 at 6:00 AM to May 9, 2025 at 6:00 AM.

The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.            

Robbery

There were no robberies reported.

Commercial Burglary

At 11:49 AM on May 8, 2025, Meridian Police responded to a commercial burglary in the 2300 block of Highway 19 North. Entry was gained through a door.

Church Burglary

There were no church burglaries reported.

Stolen Vehicles

At 9:07 AM on May 8, 2025, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 3000 block of Chandler Street. The vehicle has been recovered.

At 12:02 PM on May 8, 2025, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 3100 block of Highway 39 North. The case is currently under investigation.

Auto Burglary 

There were no auto burglaries reported.

Residential Burglary

There were no residential burglaries reported.

Shootings

Meridian Police responded to 5 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 1 showed any evidence found to support the calls.
